The Hunting Wives Season 2 has officially commenced production at Netflix, and the streamer has just announced three more returning stars.

Karen Rodriguez and Hunter Emergy have been upped to series regulars as Deputy Salazar and Deputy Flynn. They’ll be back for the new season, as well as guest star Branton Box as Sheriff Johnny.

They join the previously announced returning cast members: Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, and George Ferrier. More cast members for Season 2 will be announced at a later date.

Here’s the Season 2 logline: At the start of Season 2, Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?

The series is from Lionsgate Television and 3 Arts Entertainment. If you remember correctly, the show was set to be at Liongate’s then-sister property, Starz, before the two split. After the split, the series was sold to Netflix as an original series.

Rebecca Cutter is the creator and showrunner. She executive produces with Erin Stoff for 3 Arts Entertainment, as well as May Cobb, who wrote the novel the show is based on.
