Victoria Monét is introducing fans to her new persona: Chef Monét.
According to Rap-Up, the Grammy-winning artist shared on Monday that she’s “halfway through” culinary school and launched a new account, @itschefmonet. She also announced “Saucy Sunday,” a new series where she’ll share recipes and her journey toward mastering the kitchen.

Monét revealed that becoming a chef has been a ‘lifelong dream’ of hers
In a video shared on Instagram, Monét, in a kitchen wearing a chef’s uniform, explained that becoming a chef is “something that I’ve always wanted to do.”
“I’ve been super passionate about recipes that you can pass down from generation to generation and how food makes people feel when they’re communing together,” the singer added.
Monét invited fans to “join me on this journey for the culinary” and encourage them to share their suggestions, critiques and recipe ideas.
“I’m excited to learn with you guys,” the singer said.
As for “Saucy Sundays,” the singer explained that the new series will see her share weekly recipes on her @itschefmonet account.
“I’m a huge fan of sauce and how you sauce up a meal. It can make or break the flavor of the food,” she said.
Monét’s new cooking venture seems to be cosigned by fans and famous friends of the singer. KevOnStage playfully suggested she start off by sharing a “pumpkin pie” recipe, while Lizzo commented, “This why the studio be smellin good asl?! 🤤.”
Singer DaniLeigh already deemed Monét the “best cook” and shouted out her “chicken and waffles and cookies.”
Monét assured fans she’s still working on music
Though Monét’s resume is growing, she assured fans that she’s still making music.
“And I promise I am in the studio everyday still cooking my album! I will show you how my days are laid out soon! 🎶,” she wrote on Instagram.
