Mariah Carey shares snapshots of her family life during the holiday season

The artist took to Instagram to share posed photographs of herself and her children. Twins Moroccan and Monroe will be turning 15 years old in April, but already appear to be the same height as their mother.

In a photograph posted on Friday, Carey is seen posing between her two children and wearing a red gown. Moroccan and Monroe wore matching Christmas outfits for the occasion, light denim jeans and a sweater featuring their mother and a reference to her holiday song “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

Carey has recently shared other posed snapshots with her twins. On Christmas Eve, she shared photographs of herself, Moroccan, Monroe, and none other than Santa Claus. This time again, Monroe supported her mother as she wore a t-shirt with her mother’s face printed on.

Mariah Carey has been candid about her co-parenting relationship with Nick Cannon

The artist had her children with Nick Cannon, whom she was married to from 2008 to 2016, according to Hello Magazine. This September, she was asked about her co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband during a CBS Morning segment.

“I’m curious about you and your two children and how you navigate — ‘cause you’re a co-parent with Nick Cannon — how you navigate co-parenting when his life is so public,’ Gayle King asked Carey.

“I kinda feel like it’s best if I don’t talk about him because he can just be in his own world,” she replied. “No offense to him.”

Carey previously shared that both she and Cannon found a good way to co-parent and remain friends.

“They’re a lot, but they give me so much love in return. I wouldn’t be the same person without them,” she told People about her children in a 2019 interview. “I think Nick and I have done pretty well in co-parenting, staying friends with each other so that we can talk.”
