Paramount+’s Crutch, the new series that will see Tracy Morgan join the universe of CBS’ The Neighborhood, now has a premiere date.
The series stars Morgan as Francois “Frank” Crutchfield, who also goes by “Crutch.” According to the logline, Crutch is ” a brash, yet beloved Harlem shop owner whose world is turned upside down when his highbrow son and free-spirited daughter move back into the family home.”

The series also stars Jermaine Fowler, Hell’s Kitchen star and Tony Award winner Kecia Lewis, Adrianna Mitchell, Adrian Martinez, Braxton Paul and Finn Maloney.
Morgan’s character will make his debut on the Nov. 3 episode of The Neighborhood called “Welcome to Family Value,” airing at 8/7c. Viewers will learn that Crutch is actually Calvin’s cousin. Here’s more about the episode:
Calvin (Cedric The Entertainer) reaches out to his cousin Crutch (Tracy Morgan) to get Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney) a sweet deal on a new floor. However, Crutch insists on coming to L.A. to oversee the work himself, where he drives Tina (Tichina Arnold) crazy — and reveals an emotional vulnerability.
