Gabrielle Union and Another Simple Favor star Michele Morrone are love interests in the upcoming Prime Video Italy rom-com Blame It On Rome.

Deadline reports that the English-language film is directed by Italian filmmaker Francesco Carrozzini and co-written by Legally Blonde writer Kristen “Kiwi” Smith and Jane the Virgin writer Jessica O’Toole.

The film also sounds like it’ll be lushly made with no expense spared; costume design is by Oscar nominee Massimo Cantini Parrini, production design is led by Nastro ‘Argento Award for Production Design nominee Giuliano Pannuti and David di Donatello winner Vladan Radovic is behind the cinematography.

The synopsis will also set rom-com lovers at ease because many of the same beats are hit–a New York City working woman, an Italian getaway, and finding yourself while finding the love of your life. But a twist does shake things up–Union’s character discovers she’s pregnant.
