Blavity’s Shadow and Act has the exclusive preview for this week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and the new cast of queens are making sense of the results of their first maxi challenge.
In the exclusive clip, the girls have just come back from the non-elimination runway, and some of the queens are reeling from Nini Coco winning the design maxi challenge.
Jane Don’t, for instance, feels like she should have won over Nini, clocking Nini’s “exposed bra straps.” Meanwhile, Kenya Pleaser, who landed in the bottom two, is just grateful she escaped complete destruction “by the hair of DD Fuego’s chinny-chin-chin.”
After they de-drag and come back into the workroom the next day, they are greeted with the iconic girl group challenge, meaning more talent–and insecurities–will come to the forefront as the queens try to craft the winning group performance. And as Kenya says, Athena Dion is “plucked” after not being chosen in one of the first two groups.
