After Woods pulled the prank, the two golfers laughed and hugged as they walked off the tee on the ninth hole, CNN reported. Some people are now criticizing Woods on social media, saying the prank has sexist overtones.

I don’t often agree with today’s conservatives, but the backlash to Tiger Woods slipping Justin Thomas a tampon after outdriving him is ridiculous.

1. It was a private joke intended for Thomas & nobody else. Yes, that matters. A lot.

Woods is still looking to regain his form after sustaining serious leg injuries in a car accident two years ago. The Genesis International is Woods’ first official tournament start since The Open Championship in July.
