The drama of Georgia's gubernatorial election has been intense with Brian Kemp staking out a lead in the race. The fight, of course, isn't over as Stacey Abrams hasn't conceded and is waiting for every vote to be counted. With emotions high, the wife of current Governor Nathan Deal added a little fuel to the fire when speaking on behalf of Kemp.

According to WSB-TV, first lady Sandra Deal has been a Kemp supporter, and it was no surprise when she spoke at his watch party on Tuesday. The Metro Atlanta station posted a clip from the party on Twitter:
First Lady Sandra Deal just spoke at Brian Kemp's election watch party: "We are just so thankful for all of you who have supported Brian and his family. I really want a family in the mansion to take good care of it." #ElectionOn2

“We are just so thankful for all of you who have supported Brian and his family,” Deal exclaimed to the cheering crowd of Kemp supporters. “I really want a family in the mansion to take good care of it.”
Wait … what?
That language seemed awfully coded to many, and they took to Twitter to let Deal know they weren't having it.
Well @GovernorDeal s wife just slapped @staceyabrams in the face with that remark. Does she think Abrams wont take good care of the mansion? She needs to apologize immediately.

I was on an elevator with Governor Deal and his wife in Macon, Georgia. Governor Deal was very friendly and even ask for my vote but his wife acted as if she was afraid I was going to attack or rob her. Her dog whistle statement doesn’t surprise me.

We see through her coded language.

That mansion may have to take care of itself for a little while because a possible runoff in December is all the talk.
If neither candidate receives 50 percent of the vote, a runoff will occur on December 6. With 99 percent of precincts reporting, Kemp reportedly is at exactly 50 percent. Abrams has vowed to continue to fight for every vote to be counted and has launched a legal challenge.
A spokesperson for Kemp said Abrams is wasting her time.
"Based on counts released by the Secretary of State's office, Brian Kemp's margin is so large that the number of provisional ballots and overseas ballots will not change his Election Day victory," Kemp's press secretary Cody Hall said in a statement to CNN on Wednesday. "Simply put, it is mathematically impossible for Stacey Abrams to win or force a runoff election."
We shall see.
