We now know the official cast of Netflix’s upcoming Tyler Perry holiday film, Tyler Perry’s The Gospel of Christmas, and it includes Fantasia Barrino, Tank, Shirley Caesar, Fred Hammond, The Clark Sisters, Smokie Norful and more.
The cast and synopsis for the film were listed in Netflix’s 2026 film slate announcement on Monday. It appears to be the first official confirmation of the title and cast, though the film had been long-rumored after clips surfaced on social media of Fantasia performing a musical sequence on set.
Production Weekly also revealed a synopsis for the film around the same time as the announcement of Tis’ So Sweet, which Tyler Perry and DeVon Franklin are producing for Netflix.
The cast for Tyler Perry’s The Gospel of Christmas also includes Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Ann Nesby, Yolanda Adams, Hezekiah Walker, JeKalyn Carr and Dax.
