Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway are back together in the teaser trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2.
Set to Madonna’s “Vogue,” the teaser shows Streep’s iconic character Miranda Priestly walking through her fashion magazine office to the elevator. There, Hathaway’s character, Andrea Sachs, meets her. Miranda utters the phrase, “Took you long enough.”
The teaser shows that the dynamic between Miranda and Andrea has definitely changed over the years; last we saw the two, Miranda had finally revealed that she saw herself in Andrea, despite Miranda lowkey abusing her at work. Andrea, on the other hand, had finally stood up to Miranda and left the company after she felt like she was becoming someone she didn’t know (or like). As to how they are back together remains a mystery, but it is clear that they see each other as being on even footing.
