Shai Moss celebrated her first-ever homecoming
The 14-year-old mother Joie Chavis shared behind-the-scenes footage of her daughter getting ready for homecoming. In a video, she is seen talking with Shai as she does her makeup.
“My Shai Shai. Time is flying 🥹,” the caption of an Instagram post reads.
Shai shared snapshots on her own Instagram page, posting a Reel of herself holding her outfit before revealing the final transformation. In another photo, she’s seen in her final look. For homecoming, she opted for a silver metallic mini dress with a pleated train. Shai chose to pair the look with a pair of matching heels for the occasion. She also opted for a neutral makeup look and a classic blowout.
She posed near a pool with a bouquet of white flowers. Shai also shared posed photos with her friends who are also attending homecoming.
“feeling pretty,” she captioned a carousel of photos on Instagram.
“awww daddys baby girl growing up,” Bow Wow commented under her post, according to Essence.
Shai Moss has grown up in the public eye
Shai has grown up in the public eye; although Bow Wow rarely shares updates about his family life on social media, he does selectively share messages of congratulations for birthdays and other milestone events.
Shai, who’s 14, appears to be following in her family’s footsteps — making her acting debut in 2021 when she starred in Nickelodeon’s Side Hustle. In 2024, she also appeared in the holiday film, A Screenshot to Santa. Shai has also been present at high-profile events like the premiere for the film F9, which she attended with her father in 2021.
Bow Wow is also a father to a son, Stone, whom he shares with his ex-partner, Olivia Sky.
