Cee-Lo Green’s maybe a little toxic, but someone who is not is the lovely, lovely Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino.
And the two have aligned with a soulful new take on Childish’s “Redbone.”
Green jumps on the track, telling his lover that he’s “strong enough to lift you up high.”
And perhaps having learned something about consent, Green also sings, “Tell me, tell me that you want me.”
The people’s reaction has been mixed:
Cee-Lo Green did a remix of Redbone and he killed it… in the worst way possible

I know it sounds absurd that anybody would remix "Redbone" but boy this Cee-Lo Green version flames

I owned Cee-Lo Green's first two solo albums. But I can't separate the music from his attacks on women. So I've been done with him.
