This week featured some celebrities making moves and celebrating big wins. One of those celebrities making strides in his career is rapper Travis Scott who teamed up with Connected Cannabis, a California-based company, to launch his own weed business known as Cactus Farms, XXL Mag reported.

Wiz Khalifa shared unfortunate news on Wednesday when he announced that he tested positive for COVID-19. 

"Okay loved ones….sooo…..Ya boy got covid. No symptoms. Just stay away from me for a lil while," he wrote on Twitter.

But the rapper said he still plans to work hard from home.

T-Pain is apparently tired of the lack of variety in today's music. The 36-year-old expressed his outrage in an epic rant on Twitter on Tuesday. 

"Just do something else. Do some different music. We have all the s**t that you're doing. We already have it," the rapper said. "Lil Uzi Vert is already doing it, Lil Baby is already doing it, DaBaby is already doing it. It's literally two n***as with Baby in their names that's already doing the music that you want. Do something else! Do something else! That's it! That's all we want! Do something else!"

After some fans hit back at the rapper, saying he's only envious of today's musicians, T-Pain responded with another tweet.

Verzuz provided some more celebratory news for fans when it announced the date of the live battle between Lox and Dipset, which will take place on Aug. 3 at Hulu Theater at MSG.

Disturbing news came out of the NFL this week when ESPN's Adam Schefter broke news on cornerback Richard Sherman, who was booked at the Seattle Correctional Facility for burglary domestic violence.   

According to a 911 caller, the NFL veteran was "drunk" and threatening to kill himself before being arrested.

Sherman posted a statement on Instagram Friday, saying he’s “deeply remorseful” for his actions and he's seeking to get help for his mental health. 

DaBaby decided to teach a lesson to two kids who tried to sell him candy at an unreasonable price in New York City. The two boys were hoping to sell a box of Skittles and Gushers at $2 apiece. The rapper, however, asked the kids how much they want for the whole box.

That's when the two boys asked for $200 and made the artist laugh. After a quick math lesson, DaBaby tried to help the boys realize that they almost lost money due to greed.

Other celebrities are celebrating making history. Thirty-seven Black actors were nominated for the 2021 Emmys. According to Yahoo, Sterling K. Brown, Tracee Ellis Ross and Kenan Thompson are among those who have joined the star-studded list.

The much-anticipated arrival of Space Jam finally happened on Friday. The film, featuring NBA Superstar LeBron James, has already sparked plenty of reactions on social media.

XXL Magazine featured a roundtable of sizzling cypher verses from artists Coi Leray, Morray and Blxst. 

Tennis superstar Naomi Osaka glowed as usual when she was featured as a doll this week. Fans apparently loved the doll, which sold out within a few hours. 

“I first teamed up with Barbie in 2019 and today we’re introducing the Barbie Role Model Naomi Osaka doll. I hope every child is reminded that they can be and do anything,” the star athlete tweeted on Monday after announcing the release of the toy. 

Carlyle Nuera, who helped design the doll, has also designed Barbies for Sally Ride, the first American woman in space, and tennis legend Billie Jean King, The New York Post reported.
