Terry Crews is making his way back into the hot seat after he shared a tweet addressing how his previous remarks resulted in him being “uninvited to the cookout.”
“The best thing about being uninvited to the cookout…Is you never drank the koolaid,” the former Everybody Hates Chris actor wrote in a tweet.

Twitter users then took it upon themselves to clap back at the 53-year-old, who has a history of controversial comments.

One Twitter user directly called out the America's Got Talent host for his tweet, which they alleged was "antagonizing Black people." Crews then clarified what he was actually referencing, stating his original tweet was in response to him not being invited back to the film series The Expendables.
What are you talking about? I have plenty of Black friends.
My tweet was my response to not being invited back to the Expendables, although I wish them well. https://t.co/vVSIcQUQCQ

During the height of the Black Lives Matter protests last year, Crews was under fire both on social media and on national television with CNN's Don Lemon for his comments regarding the movement, as Blavity previously reported.
"If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology," Crews tweeted. "We must ensure #blacklivesmatter doesn't morph into #blacklivesbetter."
