Netflix's Stranger Things is a hit show that has amassed a cult-like following. Similarly, Funko's POP! figures have become the fun new way to represent your fandom.
Target recently released an ad of POP! toys featuring the Stranger Things characters, but one particular character was suspiciously missing and folks immediately noticed:
MISS BARB HAD 2 MINUTES OF SCREENTIME AND LUCAS WAS IN EVERY EPISODE ?? pic.twitter.com/yIEWHYvBhH— aly (@jaedenliebrher) October 22, 2017
Where's Lucas?!
As one of the main characters of the show, it's odd that he wouldn't be featured in the advertising lineup for the toys. Especially since the ad includes more tertiary characters. And it's not that the toy simply isn't available. Someone posted a screenshot of the toy, which is actually on sale at Target:
Target sells it Lucas' doll too- target just didn't put him on the poster pic.twitter.com/gHpJcO9ci6— alexis (@alexisw742) October 24, 2017
Naturally, Black Twitter wasn't having it.

So @Target y’all couldn’t put Lucas in the promotion?

It looks like Target may have seen the kerfuffle blow up as someone later posted a screenshot of an updated ad on Target's front page:
Maybe Target caught onto this because this is on their front page now hah. Still super shitty of them pic.twitter.com/aMsGKYajsm— SpockNRoll (@spocknrolla) October 24, 2017
