As millions around the nation and the world gathered to protest the policies of President Donald Trump's administration, the president took to Twitter to try to reframe the message of the protest into a positive for himself.
At 1:51 p.m. Saturday, Trump tweeted praise for the Women's March despite the fact that women, men and children involved are more than likely against him and his policies. The Trump administration has attacked women's healthcare, in particular, abortion rights. Trump attempted to framed the protests as a win for the economy and female unemployment.
Beautiful weather all over our great country, a perfect day for all Women to March. Get out there now to celebrate the historic milestones and unprecedented economic success and wealth creation that has taken place over the last 12 months. Lowest female unemployment in 18 years!

Trump's tweet didn't go over well. Women and allies had to remind him that they didn't want his support or his tweets dismissing the message of the marches. For some, the protests served as a warning that women are rising and they are a viable political threat that shouldn't be underestimated.
You, as a public figure, in a position of power have spoken about women in a derogatory manner on many accounts. You gained more power when you became President and take away important women’s healthcare. We are NOT celebrating. We are warning you: THE FUTURE IS FEMALE.

Twitter user Keith Hall wrote that Trump's greatest achievement is bringing people together who disapprove of his administration.
Your biggest accomplishment yet, Mr President. Millions of people around the world protesting YOU! 300,000 in Chicago; 200k NYC; several hundreds of thousands in both Philly & So Cal. Most unpopular POTUS ever! Winning! pic.twitter.com/vnEapGu8AR

Activist Brittany Packnett echoed most of the sentiments of those protesting when she proclaimed that her humanity will never be negotiated.
Im excited to speak at @womensmarch SF today.
Be forewarned: my speech intends to silence the “marginalized women are divisive” chorus who sing a verse of “shut up and stay in your place” loudly on days like today.
I’m not negotiating my humanity with you. Not today, not ever.

The tweet comes around the same time when a new ABC News-Washington Post poll landed. His approval rating has fallen to a dismal 36 percent. However, the 58 percent that disapproves of his performance has been unchanged since midsummer. The next lowest approval rating at one year was Gerald Ford’s 45 percent in 1975.
