In the wake of 18-year-old Nia Wilson's tragic murder at Oakland's BART station, our communities are hurting.
Nigerian-American rapper Chika has been catching social media attention with her brilliant bars since 2017 but went viral when she so effortlessly embarrassed Kanye over his beat in response to his suggestion that slavery was a choice in April.
On Tuesday, July 24, the 21-year-old emcee spit some real, shake-the-table lyrics in Wilson's honor on Twitter. She posted a video to remind us this tragedy could have easily happened to one of us, and to speak out until justice arrives.
