After more than two years since her last project, Solange Knowles released her highly anticipated album When I Get Home on Friday. The latest includes features from Pharrell, Playboi Carti and Tyler the Creator. To accompany the debut, Solange also announced nine album-centered events in her hometown of Houston, Texas, all scheduled for March 3.

The Houston native teased the album's release all week, including reigniting the Black social media platform BlackPlanet. As Blavity previously reported, her profile includes silent videos of Solange, phrases and other eye-catching images.

When I Get Home is the follow-up to her 2016 album A Seat at the Table, which performed exceptionally well on the charts. Per Rolling Stone, A Seat at the Table sold 72,000 units in its first week and earned the "Cranes in the Sky" singer her first No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
