Superbowl LII kicks off on Sunday, and while the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots plan to put on a good game there's also anticipation for the classic commercials that will air throughout.

As we gear up for a new wave of commercials, we've put together a list of some of the most memorable super bowl ads starring black people the over the years including some of this year's best picks. Remember these?

1. Mean Joe Greene – Coca Cola (1980)

"Here, kid! Catch."

2. Slap – Doritos (2010)

"Don't touch my mama, don't touch my doritos."

3. Wassup – Budweiser (1999)

"Wassssssuuuup."

4. The Man Your Man Could Smell Like – Old Spice (2010)

"Look at your man, now back to me, now back at your man, now back at me…I'm on a horse."

5. Larry Bird Vs. Michael Jordan – McDonald's (1993)

"Off the floor, off the scoreboard, off the backboard, no rim."

5. Terry Tate – Reebok (2003)

"And since Terry's been with us, our productivity's been up 46 percent."

6. The Right One, Baby – Diet Pepsi (1991)

Not sure who drinks diet Pepsi, but Ray Charles singing about it is iconic.

7. The Formation World Tour – Beyoncé (2016)

Bey broke the mold, using her iconic super bowl halftime performance to then follow up with an ad about her tour. Queen antics.

Ok, when you hear Peter Drinklage and Morgan Freeman together, you're already intrigued. Add Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliot to the mix, you've got pure gold.

9. Cardi B As Alexa – Amazon (2018)

Could you imagine Cardi B as Alexa? Amazon takes a funny take on what would happen if Alexa lost her voice, "okerrrt."

10. Tiffany Haddish – Groupon (2018)

We've all heard Tiffany Haddish tell the story of her Groupon adventure with Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. She has no shame in continuing to use Groupon and she tells you why in her new ad.

11. Black Panther – Lexus (2018)

As we all anticipate Black Panther, Lexus gives us a taste of what we can expect in this mix of bad assness and black excellence. Long live the king.
