Looks like Twitter folks have a wedding to plan after celebrating the engagement of a couple at a KFC in South Africa, according to the Washington Post.

Kateka Malobola, a bystander, caught the proposal on video and shared it on Twitter.

"I took the video and sent it to a group that I’ve got on my WhatsApp to say ‘check this out’ and I put it on Facebook and put it on Instagram and then boom! The whole country’s got a bloody wedding!” he said.

KFC South Africa asked for Twitter's help in locating the newly engaged couple.

Of course, social media did its thing. The couple was later identified as Hector Kansi and Nonhlanhla, according to the New York Post.

The Washington Post reports that once the couple was found, strangers in South Africa started offering to help design their wedding invitations and make traditional outfits for the big day. A spreadsheet was even created so the gifts and services wouldn’t overlap.

Other companies like South Africa’s official Audi Twitter account jumped in, too.

“These honeymoon destinations look far. Someone needs to drive them there. We got you,” Audi said on Twitter.

The couple is reportedly overwhelmed with gratitude, according to the New York Post.

“This is a lot to process so they’ve asked for time to figure out their next moves,” Kansi’s friend and wedding emcee said. “[They] are beside themselves.”
