Houston rapper Travis Scott is celebrating the success of his latest album, Astroworld, by giving enthusiastic fans $100,000 through CashApp.

On Tuesday, August 14, the Astroworld artist released a series of tweets telling fans to send their cash tags with lyrics from his third studio album, Complex reports.

"So I know its hard for the kids. So I decided to unload my bank account on u guys," he wrote on Twitter.

Like clockwork, indiscriminate amounts of money ranging from a few bucks to $1,000, were sent out to those who participated.

But $100,000 is small change compared to the numbers the album has racked up. According to Complex, Astroworld has topped the Billboard 200 chart and has earned 537,000 equivalent album units since its early August release.

Astroworld is also climbing the charts along with Nicki Minaj's Queen. Both albums are competing for the coveted number one spot on Billboard's 200.

Scott's second studio release, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, brought in 88,000 units, according to Business Insider.
