Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris had to do it again. The trio, which produced “Yeah!” and “Lovers and Friends” in 2004, has dropped a new song titled "SexBeat."

“When Usher, Jon and Luda come together it’s always amazing. It allows us to stay connected to our core like us three together,” Usher told Beats 1. “No matter what Jon is doing, no matter where Ludacris is, no matter who I am, or where I’m going, or what type of music I’m introducing, when we come together, we go back to the center, like the orbit of who we all are as artists at our best.”

Many fans, who grew up with the three's previous hits, were pleased to find the newest surprise after Usher posted the song to Twitter on Thursday.

Usher confirmed that the song was produced two years ago.

"We, by the way, have been sitting on this song for about two years," he said. "So as great as that one song is, please know that two years ago this record was done.”

Usher found himself in some drama this week when The Weeknd claimed that Usher stole his style for "Climax," as Blavity previously reported.

“I heard ‘Climax,’ that [2012] Usher song, and was like, ‘Holy f**k, that’s a Weeknd song.’ It was very flattering, and I knew I was doing something right, but I also got angry. But the older I got, I realized it’s a good thing,” The Weeknd told Variety.

Usher posted a subtly shady tweet after hearing The Weeknd's comments.

The Weeknd, however, later said he made the comments as praise to Usher and didn't want to start a beef.

In the interview with Beats 1, Usher praised his partners.

“So easy for us to disregard how incredible of a lyricist Ludacris is because they moved on to the new idea. But when he comes out over the tracks that we do, he always comes with vengeance. His wordplay and just his execution is amazing,” the artist said. “And I think that when Jon he produces, he produces with a very specific idea of how broad our reach is, right?”

According to Rolling Stone, the trio is scheduled to perform at Los Angeles’ Lovers and Friends fest on August 8.
