Although Black History Month officially came to an end on Thursday, one little girl (and Solange) made sure we'd close out the celebration just right.

Six-year-old Abby Elle took to Instagram to pay homage to several Black female music icons including Anita Baker, Whitney Houston, Brandy, Missy Elliot, Alicia Keys and Erykah Badu.

According to BuzzFeed, the young diva whose real name is Abigail teamed up with her mother, Miriame, who wanted to honor some of her favorite singers.

"I wanted to pay homage to some awesome singers," Miriame shared with the publication. "I basically picked artists I grew up listening to in my childhood and as a young adult. I wanted to show my daughter some of the singers I’ve loved throughout the years."

Photographer Ernie Michael Hall and graphic artist Glen Thomas helped recreate the seven legendary album covers.

It took over a month for the mother and daughter duo to complete the project, which included Abby's name in each album title.

It was important for her mother to combat the current racial climate by using the opportunity to spread a message of self-love.

"Young Black children are aware of the current racial climate in the US because it's always in the media," she said. "I hope we ensure that our children have pride and self-love and love the color of their skin and the texture of their hair."

As Blavity previously reported, a sixth-grade Milwaukee teacher had his students recreate covers from books by famous Black authors. Students depicted Malcolm X, Michelle Obama and Assata Shakur. The annual classroom traditional also included recreated scenes from renowned album covers, photographs and television shows.
