Music is dominating the upcoming BET+ holiday film Favorite Son Christmas, starring Tank, The Walls Group’s Darrel Walls, Serayah, MC Lyte and Madea’s Family Reunion star Lisa Arrindell. The film also boasts Robin Givens as director.

The exclusive trailer below shows how one pastor’s family is coping after the death of their patriarch. But a solution to resolve financial debts brings the family even closer together than the imagined. According to the official description:

After the death of their father, Blain has taken over the Graceway Church as Pastor, but their finances are in dire straits. Looking to the Jubilee to save the day, First Lady Rita suggests a SO GIFTED reunion to rouse the necessary ticket sales. Will the brothers and their wives overcome old gripes and truly reconcile for this Christmas reunion to be successful?

Favorite Son Christmas also stars Jekalyn Carr, Loren Lott and Anthony Evans.

The film is written by Patricia Cuffie Jones with story by Tiffany Warren. Swirl Films and Eric Tomosunas produce with Warren, Lorisa Bates, Devin Griffin, Brian Rikuda and Jerry Leo executive producing. Additional producers include Wes Cyphers, Jimmy Watson, Ron Robinson and Keith Neal, with Rene Rodriguez-Lopez and Noelle Broussard and David Eubanks co-producing. William Givens-Jensen serves as creative producer.
