Monday Night Football is back, and the New Orleans Saints are happy campers after their 43-19 win against the Washington Redskins.

Saints running back Alvin Kamara participated in post-game interviews, but it was his non-verbal statements that had everyone talking. According to Yahoo Sports, Kamara rocked a San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick jersey and a red, MAGA-inspired "Make Africa Home Again" hat.

Of course, Kamara's hat is a nod to President Trump's "Make America Great Again" red hats, which were used during his campaign and have become a symbol of white supremacy. The hat served as a double rebuke to the president, as Trump has also been a very outspoken critic of Colin Kaepernick's protests during the national anthem.

With Kamara's hat, his message is clear: America isn't truly home for us; Africa is. As NOLA.com reports, Kamara's mother is Liberian.

The player took part in #TakeAKnee protests in the 2017/18 season but has yet to sit or kneel during the anthem this year. Two of his former teammates, Kenny Stills (who now plays for the Miami Dolphins) and Eric Reid (just signed to the Carolina Panthers), have continued to kneel this season.

In his first press conference with the Panthers, Reid, who began the #TakeAKnee movement at the side of his old teammate Colin Kaepernick, said the 2018/19 year ought to bring new forms of protest. "We understand you have to change with the times," Reid said. "I think we’re going to take a different approach to how we’re going to be active.”

It looks like Kamara is taking Reid's advice.
