Lyrics from a 21 Savage song could have possibly foreshadowed the rapper's recent arrest and potential deportation.

XXL Magazine reported the album Am > I Was currently boasts the coveted honor of No. 1 album in the country.

The CD version of the lyrics to the song "A Lot" end with the Georgia native touching upon facing adversity while growing up and mentioned children detained during the border wall crisis.

"Started from the bottom straight from the gutter, so I had to go a lil' harder. The lights was off, the gas was off, so we had to boil up the water," Savage raps. "Been through some things so I can't imagine my kids stuck at the border. Flint still need water. People was innocent, couldn't get lawyers."

The Slaughter Gang artist's third verse was shared on Reddit by a fan in late December. Although the music video features J. Cole, Savage performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 29 alone, with the original third verse that includes lyrics voicing his opposition to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

As Blavity previously reported, the Grammy nominee was arrested in Atlanta on Sunday after officials determined he was living in the United States illegally. Savage moved to the United States from the United Kingdom back in 2005 but never returned home after his visa expired the following year.

Updates regarding the Saint Laurent Don, who is well-known for philanthropic efforts in the Atlanta community, are still pending.
