Hey USA!
After a successful international film festival circuit tour, Sudz Sutherland’s drama Home Again, which stars Tatyana Ali, Lyriq Bent, Stephan James, Richard Chevolleau, C.C.H. Pounder, and Fefe Dobson, will unfortunately NOT be getting a theatrical release Stateside.
Sorry, but no deal!
However, you will still be able to see the film when it hits the iTunes store, and Amazon’s pay-per-stream service, as well as DVD, on October 22, just under 2 weeks away.
Sutherland’s sophomore feature effort tells the tale of three young people deported home to Jamaica after being raised abroad since infancy. Once landed in Kingston and without a compass of any kind, each of the characters embarks on a journey that tests and forces them to discover who they truly are. Ultimately, it’s a story of survival.
The Canadian-produced feature, Sudz’s second, was shot on location in Trinidad, Jamaica and Canada, last year, and is described as “a searing drama in the vein of City of God.“
Entertainment One has distribution rights to the film, with co-production partners The National Film Board and with the participation of Telefilm Canada, and the Harold Greenberg Fund.

Look for it on the 22nd!
