Florida siblings Aaron and Jolisa Allen were late to work when they witnessed a white Chrysler hit Thomas and Diana Windsor’s car. The couple, along with their daughter, found themselves trapped in their overturned vehicle, sinking into a watery ditch.
“The car pretty much just blind-sided them, and I’m pretty sure they were just as scared, and I was shocked,” Allen told Fox 13 News. “The first thing I could do was to spring into action.”
The siblings located the couple’s Toyota RAV4 and were dismayed to find it upside down. Thinking quickly, and with the added pressure of water steadily rising within the vehicle, Jolisa and Aaron worked together to flip the car on its side.

“We knew someone was trying to lift the car up and my initial thought was, ‘there’s no way they are going to lift this car on its side,’” Diana told ABC Action News.
But they did. Once the car was turned over, Aaron took off his shirt and wrapped the fabric around his fist for protection. Using his strength, Aaron punched through the windshield, a feat which earned him 14 stitches along his arm, MSN reports. Jolisa, who aided in the rescue, received smaller injuries to her fingers.
“Some angels,” Diana told ABC Action News about the siblings who saved them.
“Yeah, angels,” Thomas agreed. “Guardians. Heaven sent.”
Inside, Diana and Thomas held their young daughter, who was only 11-days old, MSN reports, for the siblings to save first. After she was taken from the car, the couple followed suit.
The Windsors nor their daughter were harmed.
Law enforcement is still searching for the driver responsible for the crash.
