Mondays are pretty difficult all their own without a mind-bending conspiracy theory to add to the mix. Enter B.o.B, born Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr., who must have encountered some strange clouds recently because, he doesn’t believe the earth to be round.
So, let’s break this down, shall we? Surprisingly, there are a considerable number of people who still believe that the earth is flat, and B.o.B has since matured enough to join their ranks.
A lot of people are turned off by the phrase “flat earth” … but there’s no way u can see all the evidence and not know… grow up
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 25, 2016
Well, now is this maturation or marketing?
my acct is censored I need your help to get my links out… RT and pass it on … https://t.co/lCeJaXYPOE pic.twitter.com/QRJX2IVNq9
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 19, 2016
censored meaning: all my followers don’t see my posts, my numbers are decreased so my posts don’t trend, and YouTube plays reset
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 19, 2016
Oh. Whether or not his claims of censorship are true (or not), and this notion that the establishment is somehow keeping his YouTube views from increasing (Sir…), he’s been challenging the enemy one tweet at a time.
we are programmed to not know who the enemy is.
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 4, 2016
I used to think I could just meditate the enemy away… but that’s a misconception . wisdom without action isn’t wisdom at all.
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 4, 2016
I know a lot of people don’t exactly understand all my tweets, but I’m not crazy… in time all will be explained n my music
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 14, 2016
This struggle for relevance is no doubt real because how else is he going to get his music to the masses.
Let’s get #BringBoBtoMyCity trending … What City you in
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 20, 2016
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 20, 2016
And let’s be clear, this is not a conspiracy. Bobby knows of what he speaks.
don’t try to back me into the “conspiracy theorist” corner… don’t be fooled. I speak from personal experience.
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 22, 2016
Receipts!
NASA forgot to put stars in all the photos of earth
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 23, 2016
The cities in the background are approx. 16miles apart… where is the curve ? please explain this pic.twitter.com/YCJVBdOWX7
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 25, 2016
(Friendly reminder that the earth’s circumference is a whopping 24,901 miles, but back to this programming.)
Time-lapse photos of stars form perfect circles… how is this possible ? pic.twitter.com/d9d1sJja8z
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 25, 2016
And when people started to remind him about science, he was ready.
@Sam_Prudence @bobatl If earth was flat we’d have already either discovered an edges, or there would be more & more continents discovered.
— Bijou BAKSON (@BijouBAKSON) January 25, 2016
have u been to the edge ? or is that what your science book told you https://t.co/61qaI5xx5f
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 25, 2016
@bobatl dude get in a plane, and fly in one direction, you will come back around to where you started
— Sam Prudence (@Sam_Prudence) January 25, 2016
why don’t u do it I dare ya https://t.co/6tg4Bpiphc
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 25, 2016
And he continues with math and memes to prove his point.
No matter how high in elevation you are… the horizon is always eye level … sorry cadets… I didn’t wanna believe it either.
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 25, 2016
y’all be like… “you’re not high enough to see the curve…keep going” pic.twitter.com/dzgYpIIao3

— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 25, 2016
how do you explain the horizon always being at eye level ? https://t.co/Kzuc4r77CK
— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 25, 2016
I guess once our careers hit a plateau, our perception of reality shifts along with it. Perhaps just keep making music and let nature take its course, beloved. Wish on a star, or an airplane since NASA hasn’t CGI’d the constellations into the sky yet, wherever you are.
