Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott announced on Twitter that she is the first female rapper to earn six RIAA platinum-certified, albums in a row, according to All Hip Hop.
Missy pays respect to her hip-hop contemporaries and honors her fans.
Elliott celebrated her success and credited her fellow "sisters in hip-hop" in a tweet. She also expressed her gratitude to her fans, according to The Source.
