Old video footage of former Spice Girl Mel B being groped on live television has surfaced, and people are rightfully disgusted.
The footage is from a 2014 interview from British television show Xtra Factor, a companion show to talent competition X Factor, according to The Sun.
Mel B was seated next to fellow X Factor judge Louis Walsh during an interview when he began to palm her butt.
Mel was visibly irritated and tried to hold her composure, but Walsh wouldn't let up.
"Hold on a second, hold on," she said to the host.
"Why are you grabbing my butt?" she asked, turning her attention to Walsh.
Everyone else laughed it off while Mel B scooted away from Walsh.
Despite the footage being four years old, it rightfully sparked outrage.
The fact that he acted as if he didn’t know, ????… Mel B should’ve smacc’d his perverted ass on LIVE TV! https://t.co/lVdnkT29m3

I see so many people under that Mel B video saying it’s not sexual harassment because he’s gay. Sexuality does not diminish the terms of harassment.

I saw the Mel B video and I'm upset.
We have all had strange men touch us without our consent and everytime you react they make it seem like you're overreacting or it want intentional. Man, how TF do you grope my ass by mistake?

This man grabs Mel B's butt on live TV & there are men in the comments arguing she overreacted, handled it badly, that she embarrassed the man, that they miss the old days.
Wow. Just wow. Many men still defend even live examples of sexual harassment. https://t.co/z7lK9nSF31— Tugen Girl (@tugengirl) July 9, 2018
Louis Walsh being gay doesn’t mean he didn’t sexually harass Mel b lool. It’s not just straight men that need consent to touch women.

What disgusts me even more are the comments defending that guy and his male fragility because Mel B so called “embarrassed” him by pointing out that she was being sexually harassed. So once again, it’s the woman’s fault that she received unwanted sexual contact from a man. ???????????? https://t.co/GVJQDOh10v

All of you defending that man are the reason why men keep getting away with sexual harassment/assault. Put yourself in that situation, better yet put your mother in that situation. You think because it’s Live TV that Mel B (the victim) should’ve had “concern” for him? Fuck y’all.

Why do I have the feeling this isn’t the first time he’s done this to Mel B or ANY woman for that matter? It’s just the first time he’s been caught on live TV
Louis Walsh is filth https://t.co/ctql8MXA2H— d’ ???????? (@deli_AU) July 9, 2018
Yes old dude is gay but he still touched her inappropriately for no particular reason other than to humiliate her. That's why this is much much worse. He's not even attracted to her he was doing it for lols y'all. #MelB

Sometimes, some men are not even making things easier.
This sick bastard called Louis Walsh groped Mel B's butt on live TV and he was foolishly laughing like it's a joke. I hope @BGT fires his ass.
She should have slapped the fool. #MelB

Neither Mel B nor Walsh has said anything about the footage.
Regardless of his sexuality, he was dead wrong.
