Maria Sharapova was suspended from tennis for a drug she says she’s been taking for heart problems. The drug, Melodonium, is said to be used for chest pain, but it was banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency at the top of 2016. At a news conference in LA she said, “I received a letter from the ITF (International Tennis Federation) saying that I had failed a drug test at the Australian Open … and I take full responsibility for it,” and the public responded as well.
