Many would argue that words are the most powerful force in the universe. A perfectly placed word of affirmation, planted by just the right person at precisely the right time has the power to alter the entire outcome of someone's life. Few people have applied this dynamic more consistently than Jay-Z who, for more than two decades has been using his words to create new realities for himself.
On Monday night, at a concert in Cleveland, Jay extended his powerful platform to remind a 9-year-old fan of her unlimited potential, saying, "You can be anything that you want to be and more." He went on to tell her, "At this very moment America is way more sexist than they are racist, but you young lady, you got the potential to be the next president of the United States, you believe that."
