As of Tuesday morning, at least six people have died since flooding began in the Houston area on Sunday evening. The Harris county judge estimates that approximately 240 billion gallons of rain have fallen since the storm began, making this the worst weather-related disaster to hit the area in 15 years.
Many residents have been left without power and others have been displaced from their homes.
The reality of the flood is very unsettling.

Their ability to wade in the water is actually legendary. People are actually turning up in the flood.
