French Montana's trip to Uganda a year ago has resulted in the opening of a health center that will serve up to 300,000 people in the country.
Last year, French Montana unveiled renovations to the Suubi "Hope" Health Center, a medical facility he helped to restore. Now, the facility is up and running and ready to be a blessing to the people of Uganda.
In May, Montana donated $100,000 to the non-profit Mama Hope Organization to help revamp the Ugandan facility. He has since become hip-hop's first Global Citizen Ambassador for his efforts.
Although the hospital wasn't yet complete, we first got a glimpse of the facility when Montana and Swae Lee went to Uganda to film their "Unforgettable" music video.
The rapper's efforts prompted matching donations of $100,000 from The Weeknd and $200,000 from Diddy, which then expanded the project to building and opening the new hospital for residents.
You can check out the updates of the facility at Suubi Hospital or BICenterUg.org.
