Saturday Night Live is shaking things up with five new featured players joining the cast just in time for its 51st season. Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson and Veronika Slowikowska are set to make their debut when the iconic sketch comedy show returns later this year.

This comes after several cast members, such as Devon Walker, Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow and Emil Wakim departed ahead of the new season.

The long-running series continues to dominate late-night television, holding its spot as the No. 1 broadcast entertainment show in the coveted 18-49 demographic during the 2024–25 season.

Brennan was named a New Face of Comedy at Just for Laughs in 2023 and has performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Culhane gained popularity through his viral TikTok content and appearances on Dropout TV, as well as his performances with the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles.

Marshall joined SNL‘s writing staff in 2021 and has appeared on-camera as part of the comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy. Patterson, a stand-up comic from Orlando, Florida, is a regular on the podcast Kill Tony and is set to appear in Netflix’s 72 Hours.

Slowikowska, originally from Canada, is known for her roles in Degrassi: Next Class, What We Do in the Shadows and The Lake.
