#Josh"Get the Greenlight" is Project Greenlight Digital Studios’ first contest which awards $25,000 to an emerging filmmaker to produce a digital series, as part of a development deal with Project Greenlight Digital Studios.

We alerted you to the contest when it was first announced last year, so I assume some of you entered it. All you needed to do was submit a creative one to three-minute pitch video selling the contest judges on why your series should "Get the Greenlight," and you had to do so by November 25, 2015.

Finalists were announced on December 21, 2015, and the winner was announced today, January 8, 2016.

Congratulations to Edson Jean and Joshua Jean-Baptiste who won the contest, and the $25,000 development deal with Project Greenlight Digital Studios that comes along with the win.

Their pitch video was titled "#Josh." Its synopsis: "Draped in the culturally capricious backdrop of Miami, a chaste, digitally dependent twenty something is forced to coexist with his promiscuous problematic cousin."
