nullOctavia Spencer continues to line up some really intriguing projects. In addition to "Hidden Figures," which tells the untold true story of the African American women mathematicians who worked at NASA during the Civil Rights era, the actress is now said to be in talks to star in Guillermo Del Toro’s Cold War era movie, which is described as a mysterious and magical journey set against the backdrop of 1963 America, with an otherworldly love story at the center of it.

Details are being kept mostly underwraps for now, and what role exactly Spencer is in negotiations for aren’t public at this time.

But Del Toro is writing, producing and directing the film for Fox Searchlight, with a summer shoot eyed.

Catch Spencer this weekend in "The Divergent Series: Allegiant – Part 1" which opens tomorrow.

Also on her to-do list is "The Shack" in which she essentially plays God, and "Gifted" with Chris Evans.
