Hulu and Disney Branded Television have dropped the first teaser trailer for Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, the upcoming limited series revival of the iconic Fox sitcom.
It was also announced that the series will premiere on April 10 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
The cast features returning stars Bryan Cranston as Hal, Frankie Muniz as Malcolm, Jane Kaczmarek as Lois, Christopher Kennedy Masterson as Francis, Justin Berfield as Reese, and Emy Coligado as Piama.
Who are the new ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ cast members?
New cast members include Keeley Karsten as Leah, Malcolm’s daughter; Vaughan Murrae as Kelly, Malcolm’s youngest sibling; Kiana Madeira as Tristan, Malcolm’s girlfriend; and Caleb Ellsworth-Clark as Dewey.
How many episodes will there be?
The revival series will have four episodes.
Here’s the synopsis:
After shielding himself and his daughter from his family for over a decade, Malcolm is dragged back into their orbit when Hal and Lois demand his presence at their 40th anniversary party.
The series is from Disney Branded Television and produced by 20th Television and New Regency. Original series creator Linwood Boomer returns as the writer and executive producer. Cranston, Tracy Katsky of KatCo, Gail Berman and New Regency’s Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan and Natalie Lehmann are executive producers.
Ken Kwapis is the director of all four episodes and executive producer. Jimmy Simons and Laura Delahaye co-executive produce.
