Jack Harlow has been booked and busy these past few weeks. The “First Class” rapper released his third studio album, Jackman, just last month. Last week, he launched The Jack Harlow Foundation, a charity that gives back to the hitmaker’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. And Thursday, he walked the red carpet for the premiere of his movie, Hulu’s remake of White Men Can’t Jump, which marks the 25-year-old’s acting debut.
Lil Nas X, collaborator and friend of Harlow’s, was in attendance for the premiere in Hollywood. While on the carpet, the Grammy-winning singer was outfitted in a casual ensemble featuring a cheeky black tee with “JACK” and a picture of the film’s leading man wearing a Lil Nas X t-shirt at the 2022 BET Awards.

This fashion statement is a wholesome gesture and full circle moment after Harlow famously wore a t-shirt of Lil Nas X at the BET Awards last year when the “Old Town Road” singer was not invited to attend. Lil Nas X’s Thursday red carpet fit referenced the BET Awards snub.

Harlow is featured on the 2021 hit “Industry Baby,” taken from Lil Nas X’s debut album, Montero. Perhaps we’ll see another collab in the future, especially as Lil Nas X gears up for the release of his sophomore album.

White Men Can’t Jump is a comedy film based on a 1992 production of the same name, this time starring Jack Harlow as “Jeremy,” a hustler who relies on not being taken seriously as a streetballer because he’s white. Seemingly opposites, he reluctantly teams up with “Kamal,” played by Sinqua Walls, to compete in a $500,000 streetball tournament.
