Keke Palmer and SZA’s film One of Them Days will give us some fun during next year’s Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Variety reports that the film will come to theaters one week early to Jan. 24, 2025, making it one of the films available for viewing during the Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. According to the outlet’s source, Sony decided to move the release date “to take advantage of the four-day holiday weekend, where no other comedies are currently slated.”

The update will help a lot of movie fans have some fun, especially since a lot of us will need something to distract from Donald Trump’s inauguration. However, regardless of your political leanings, One of Them Days will help us usher in 2025 with some much-needed laughs.

The film stars SZA and Palmer as Alyssa and Dreux, two roommates and best friends who are, as the description states, “are about to have one of them days.”

“When they discover Alyssa’s boyfriend has blown their rent money, the duo finds themselves going to extremes in a comical race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact,” the logline continues.

One of Them Days also stars Maude Apatow, Janelle James, Lil Rel Howery, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Katt Williams, Aziza Scott, Amin Joseph, Gabrielle Dennis and DomiNque Perry, as well as Joshua Neal, and Patrick Cage.
