Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are reprising their Marvel characters Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk in the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again.
The new trailer for the series seems to continue Disney’s foray into more adult entertainment. Fans of Daredevil will find this appropriate though, since Daredevil’s story is one of the grittier stories among the Marvel canon.
The series follows Murdock, a blind lawyer who moonlights as a vigilante going after Wilson Fisk, the city’s biggest crime boss.
According to the official synopsis:
In Daredevil: Born Again, Murdock, a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
Along with Cox and D’Onoforio, the series stars Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, with Ayelet Zurer and Jon Bernthal.
