Comedian and writer Kevin Barnett is dead at 32.
An up-and-coming New York City scribe and funnyman, Barnett worked on Broad City, The Eric Andre Show and The Carmichael Show. He recently co-created and produced Fox’s Lil Rel Howery vehicle, Rel, with Jerrod Carmichael. He had several projects in the works that he wrote or co-wrote, including The Wrong Missy starring David Spade.
He also notably co-hosted the podcast Round Table of Gentlemen.
The circumstances of his death were unknown, but, according to Deadline, he died “suddenly while vacationing.”
Comedy Central remembered the young talent on Instagram.
