Colman Domingo set to be the game show host in a dystopian world in The Running Man reboot.

The Madness star has been cast as a version of Damon Killian, portrayed by Richard Dawson in the 1987 film based on Stephen King’s novel (published under the name Richard Bachman). Damon was the host of a deadly game show that forces convicts to play for their freedom.

It’s not clear if Domingo’s game show host will keep the same name as Dawson’s character, but it appears he will be different in the sense that he won’t be as villainous as Dawson’s character was.

According to Deadline, writer/director Edgar Wright is setting up Josh Brolin’s television executive character to be the film’s main villain.

The original film also starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as Ben Richards, a police officer who is wrongly convicted and must take part in the game show and hopefully win enough money to help his daughter, who is suffering from an illness. Glen Powell will play Schwarzenegger’s role.

The Running Man also stars Daniel Ezra, Katy O’Brian and Karl Glusman.

The film will come to theaters Nov. 7.
