The first teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming sci-fi thriller, Annihilation.

Toplined by Natalie Portman, it also features Tessa Thompson and Gina Rodriguez in key roles.

It is based on Jeff VanderMeer’s best-selling Southern Reach Trilogy. Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tuva Novotny and Oscar Isaac also star.

The movie is written and directed by Alex Garland.
