Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin expressed immense gratitude when he went to Instagram on Saturday for the first time since collapsing in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
“When you put real love out into the world it comes back to you 3x’s as much,” Hamlin wrote. “The Love has been overwhelming, but I’m thankful for every single person that prayed for me and reached out. We brung the world back together behind this. If you know me you know this only gone make me stronger. On a long road keep praying for me!”
Hamlin also posted on Twitter on Sunday to show support for his teammates as they faced the New England Patriots.
“Nothing I want more than to be running out of that tunnel with my brothers,” Hamlin tweeted. “God Using Me In A Different Way Today. Tell Someone You Love Them Today!”

The Bills continued to dedicate tributes to Hamlin as they took the field on Sunday.

As Blavity reported, Hamlin’s breathing tube was removed Friday, and he spoke with his teammates on FaceTime.
Fans have supported Hamlin by raising more than $8 million for his Chasing M’s Foundation Community Toy Drive. Hamlin started the initiative in 2020 to give back to children in his hometown of McKees Rocks, Philadelphia.
