Beyoncé delivered a high-energy halftime show performance for Netflix’s first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday. The music superstar performed during the second of the two matches, the Baltimore Ravens vs. the Houston Texans.

Taking place in Houston, the performance was produced by Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment.

The performance, which Netflix calls a mix of “music, fashion and history,” was over 12 minutes and featured the very first live performances of songs from her critically-acclaimed, groundbreaking album, Cowboy Carter.

Setlist and guests

The show kicked off with a segment featuring the songs “16 Carriages” and “Blackbiird,” featuring Tiera Kennedy, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer and Reyna Roberts.

It then transitioned to the field, where she performed a number of songs including “Ya Ya” and “My House.” HBCU Texas Southern University’s Ocean of Soul performed as a part of the set, and Beyoncé’s oldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter also came out and was a featured dancer. Shaboozey and Post Malone also joined Queen Bey to perform their featured songs from Cowboy Carter.

The Houston Texans Cheerleaders also took part in the set. Tributing Western and rodeo culture, special guests included, “Mexican Cowgirl, Melanie Rivera, Bull-riding legend, Myrtis Dightman, Jr., known as the ‘Jackie Robinson of Rodeo,’ Miss Rodeo Texas Princess 2004 and Miss Rodeo Texas 2015, Nikki Woodward, and the first Black Rodeo Queen in Arkansas, Ja’Dayia Kursh.” Houston Texans owner, Cal McNair and his wife, Hannah were in the caravan.

The performance can be re-watched as a standalone social coming to Netflix, titled Beyoncé Bowl. The special will arrive soon, though the details are unknown right now.

As for the game itself, the Ravens defeated the Texans, 31-2.
