Bad Bunny is returning to where it all began with an official residency set in his native home of Puerto Rico.
According to Variety, the renowned reggaeton star will kick off a 21-date residency on the island of Puerto Rico, with the first nine shows being exclusive to its residents. The move follows the release of his sixth studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which he referred to as his “most Puerto Rican album yet,” per NBC News, thanks to lyrics that paint a picture of current ongoing political issues, most noticeably gentrification.
In a teaser video shared on his Instagram account, Bad Bunny captioned the clip “casa.”

Set to begin on July 11, the residency, titled “No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí,” will take place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, known as a profitable hub for Puerto Rico’s local businesses and communities. The event’s title translates to “I Don’t Want to Leave Here.” It also is a lyric famously known from his hit “El Apagón,” which is included on his fourth studio album, Un Verano Sin Ti, released on May 6, 2022. That same year, the work became the longest-running No. 1 album since 2016, according to Billboard.

Where to purchase tickets
Ticket sales for the summer residency, produced by Bad Bunny’s manager Noah Assad’s Move Concerts, will begin on Jan. 15. The shows that will go on sale on this date will be exclusively for Puerto Rico residents, and tickets will be available for purchase in person only at various locations around the island.
Fans can receive a presale code on Jan. 13 for shows starting Aug. 1. Registration will close on Jan. 14 at 11:59 p.m. AST.
