Following a one day delay, singer and songwriter Teyana Taylor's latest album, Keep That Same Energy, has landed on music streaming services everywhere.
The eight-track Kanye West-produced album has sparked a number of conversations online because of recent delays regarding G.O.O.D Music's albums. Last week, rap legend Nas dropped Nasir for the public after a delay.
Buzz around his latest project was immediately killed on the spot as Beyoncé and Jay-Z's joint album, Everything is Love, dropped that same weekend. Fans wanted G.O.O.D Music to do better by Taylor.
Now, the album is here, some people have legitimate complaints about the production, release and overall quality of the album. There are also a number of people who genuinely love this latest entry into her discography. Twitter would be remised if it didn't share its opinions. So here are a few of the best reactions to Keep That Same Energy:
The mixed reactions:

So Teyana Taylor’s album is up on iTunes and Tidal, but it’s eight songs and not even eight full songs which makes it 23 minutes long. Because that’s how you respond to an aside with buzz built on a slept on debut, great performances & amazing covers floating around social media?

Blame Kanye and G.O.O.D music:
Teyana Taylor lost a full day of streaming. Kanye's cheesing, that aint a good look. He messed up Nas' release last week too. No more listening parties. The listening party should be albums dropping everywhere at midnight!

Whoever produced Teyana Taylor last album should’ve kept that same energy and did her second ????????♀️????????♀️????????♀️????????♀️.

Kanye and GOOD Music holding Teyana Taylor back.
She is the total package as an artist, she deserves better.

Disappointed af with Teyana Taylor's album. I only like 1 or 2 songs and I don't think K.T.S.E is gonna do for her what everybody thought it was gonna do for her.

Teyana Taylor been around for 10+ years without a proper discography and that’s just so odd. Like her whole music career is so unnecessarily complicated. She’s made some bad business moves by working under her idols instead of doing her own thing.
