Costco has issued a recall on a beloved favorite. According to Tasting Table , the warehouse retailer is recalling the Kirkland Signature Prosecco Valdobbiadene, a sparkling wine popular for its affordable price, as certain bottles have posed a serious risk to buyers. Rather than return compromised bottles, Costco urges specific customers who’ve bought the Prosecco to discard it immediately. Costco said Prosecco buyers in certain states should safely discard bottles Costco informed its members of the recall in a notice , explaining that certain bottles were at risk of shattering even before being opened. Customers in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Michigan, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, or Wisconsin who purchased a bottle of the sparkling wine between April 25 and Aug. 26 are urged not to open any unopened bottles.
